ZANE Donor Events

Each year, ZANE runs events for its donors in the form of presentations, lunches and suppers. Talks are given by high-profile supporters and presentations are made by ZANE staff from Zimbabwe.

If you would like to be invited to future events and have not received invitations in the past, please contact us to be added to out database.

Here are some quotes and pictures speakers from the November 2009 lunch and supper:

John Humphrys, The Today Programme, BBC Radio 4

'ZANE’s work is wonderfully moving. ZANE is really in touch with the people it assists and so (ZANE) touches lives. It’s a very difficult thing to do but that’s what ZANE manages to achieve.'

General Sir Richard Dannatt KCB, MC - Former Chief of the General Staff

'In the context of the infrastructural collapse of Zimbabwe, ZANE does tremendous work. The work ZANE does to assist those who fought for their country, and its wider work in the community, is fantastic. '

Rt Hon Paul Boateng, former UK High Commissioner for South Africa

'ZANE is a wonderful charity, it’s about service and it’s about love. What makes it special is that it forms relationships with everyone it helps. '

The Rt Hon Lord Mackay of Clashfern

'In Zimbabwe people feel forgotten. ZANE does marvellous work with the money it raises. It is important to support that work. Please do so.'

Henry Olonga (former International Cricketer for Zimbabwe)

'ZANE does fantastic work helping people rebuild their lives and i know that it does this on a one to one basis. '

Tom Benyon OBE, founder and Director of ZANE

'ZANE's donations are down by 27 percent in real terms. At the same time we have 250 percent more people coming to us for aid. At present we cannot help any more people. It is a real tragedy. Please help us.' '

To ensure that ZANE's strategic work continues, please donate today.

Please will you help us? Any contribution, however modest,
will make a difference.
ZANE has a first class team on the ground across Zimbabwe. ZANE has systems in place that ensure that every pound donated, is used to its maximum advantage. The money will be prudently used and will go towards the relief of hardship and acute misery.
The cost of care. . .
ZANE has no offices and employs only a small staff in the UK. There are no middlemen and there is no waste.
